The gatefold card below uses a sentiment from Club Scrap's 2016 digital holiday kit, "Christmas Thyme." No color printer was available for me to use, so I printed it in grayscale and added silver ink onto the background cardstock to balance it out.
I used green cardstock from the "Scandinavia" kit for the sides and the belly band. I also used red cardstock from the "Trattoria" kit. I used a white gel pen to add some white to the panels, as well as black and silver ink that I sponged on through the three holes punched in the stencil that came with the "Trattoria" kit.
Ooh, a masculine card! I like it! I made the card using acetate so there is an open window - kind of like a peek-a-boo card but sooooo much cooler! I used two papers from "Color Me Happy" - the blue and the background. The tread stamp and the sentiment are both from the "Creative License" kit. Doesn't the shimmer on the "Amazing" sentiment look fantastic? Inside the card, I used the teal cardstock from the "Scandinavia" kit to cover the adhesive used for the acetate layer. I love this card!
Now this little baby, THIS card, it just doesn't photograph well at all. In fact, it's so incredible, my mom has already called "Dibs!" on it! For the main image, I used one of the cut-aparts from the "Garden Shed" kit. (Perhaps my favorite kit from the past year!)
