This is another card featuring the kimono from Club Scrap's kit.
I stamped the kimono with VersaMark ink and heat embossed the image with silver embossing power. I colored in the image from the back of the vellum using Copic markers. This gives the image a pastel look.
I stamped the sentiment onto a panel that I added four microbrads to anchor the piece, even though it is attached with foam tape. I embossed the brads with the same silver powder I used for the kimono.
I randomly stamped the large kanji sentiment around the edge of the card base.
Because adhesive shows through vellum, I created a "lip" to extend onto the back of the card base where I attached it with double-sided tape. I also added glue behind the sentiment to keep the bottom in place.
There is not a single misstep in this kit - everything in it is beautiful. Head over to Club Scrap to see all their kits!
