I am a big fan of Club Scrap's "Delft" collection and think this card is a perfect example of how the papers translate into both card making and scrapbooking. This 5" x 5" card uses one of the patterned papers and a sentiment from the collection. I added in a scribble die cut from Stampin' Up! to tie in the lighter blue/lavender color from the paper. I'm entering this card into the Watercooler Wednesday challenge! Update: I received Honourable Mention for this little cutie! |
I have been sorely in need of some thank you notes, so I whipped up a couple using the "Delft" collection papers and the "thanks" sentiment from Club Scrap's "Succulents" kit. For the card to the right, I added pearl embellishments that I colored with Copic marker. | This paper on the left is one of my favorites from the "Delft" kit. It has the batik-look I like so much. I paired the busy paper with a simple "thanks" sentiment and some dark blue skinny fiber. (Skinny...I'd like to resemble that remark!) |
