A cute and simple card appropriate for Valentine's Day or any other day you just want to let someone know they're special!
I used one of the sentiments from The Project Bin's "In My Heart" set for this card. I used a panel of Distress Ink'd cardstock and layered up to the top panel where I added more of the yellow-orange color to so it would help pull some of the Distress color up.

Another card using The Project Bin's "Wise Women" set. I like the ink color against the pink, brown, and cherry florals of the paper.
I cut the frame from some paper you've probably seen before (LOL) and stamped the sentiment on vellum ...makes me crazy. I can't get into coloring them. And I'm allergic. But that doesn't mean I dislike GETTING flowers. I just don't want to have to get them for myself.
Did I mention I don't like Valentine's Day. Uh, yeah! I used the "I'd Pick You" set from Skipping Stones Design. I like the doubled perforation on this card. I think it finished things off nicely. It's a keeper! I used a sentiment from one of my favorite sets, "Feline Good," from The Project Bin for this card. I have a couple cat people in my life who'll like this for Valentine's Day!
So, we've got some die cutting, faux dashed lines, Glossy Accents, diamond glitter, and ribbon. Oh, yeah, and those super cute cats! Love at first meow! My card du jour comes courtesy of Skipping Stones Design "Funderwear" set. I colored my images with Copic markers and fussy cut the bra and panties.
I have a secret to share, though. Matching bras and panties? Nope. I've gone commando since I was in high school. But I can appreciate the sentiment! Sigh. I like it....and I already have a recipient for it! Ain't it pertty? I used The Project Bin's "Wise Women" set to make this large-opening peek-a-boo card. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of cardstock that complemented the outer and inner cardstocks. I also mounted it on a small piece of white to pull some of the white inside the card. I heat embossed the sentiment with copper powder that kind of reads rose-gold to me. And then I got sixty-four kinds of stupid and decided to create some rolled flowers fpor embellishement.. Good thing I had Season 2 of "Poldark" to finish 'cause those babies took some TIME. (Not to mention that I lost them three times on the overloaded craft table. Ugh!) I sponged then Wink of Stella'd each of the flowers and added a few small sections of ribbon to stand in for leaves. It didn't look finished to me, so I added my papercrafter's version of tatting to add more white.
The inside is lined with the wood planking paper you see under the card. There's room for the note to the recipient under the sentiment. Thumbs up for this little baby! Anything from Mother Theresa works on a card! I used a sentiment from The Project Bin's "Wise Women" for this card. I used Glossy Accents on the word "smile," and added my patented tatting around the outside edge with a white gel pen. The sentiment was cut out of the cardstock, stamped with the greeting, and then mounted onto a brown panel just a smidge wider than the sentiment before putting the whole thing back in the spot it came from, (See how the bird's head goes with the body there on the right side!)
