The Thanksgiving card did not have any stamped images. I used some awesome cardstock that I don't remember the name of. Maybe this weekend I'll be able to uncover the rest of the sheet and update this with a name.
The Winter card uses stamps from Purple Onion Designs. The artist is Stacey Yakula, and boy, does this gal have talent! Everyone of her stamps is cute and works well together. I used Birch (Winter Bunny) and Snowy (Winter Owl) from her "Winter Wishes" collection.
In order to get a snowy look in the background and the foreground, I heat embossed snowflakes onto transparency film, which held up really well to the heat. (I expected it to warp or buckle, which it didn't do.)
Sometimes I wish the ideas that pop into my head were less complicated than they turn out to be!
More cards from the in-between-blogs days!
Since I was between blogs when Halloween came around, here is what I sent out. I just l-o-v-e this image from Dilly Beans Stamps. He was great fun to color and I think he wears green as well Elphaba from Wicked ! I gave him some red-rimmed eyes, too, which is kind of creepy even though he's cute as heck!
If you haven't shopped with Dilly Beans, I highly recommend it for cute monstrosities!
It's Just Me!
Librarian, crafter, pet mom, and thrift store shopper who can fritter a day away like nobody else. Well, except for you maybe. Let's be friends!
