How fun is this A2 peek-a-boo card for that guy in your life? I used one of the images from Skipping Stones Design sets called "Holy Carp." (It's temporarily out of stock, so check the website to see when you can get your hands on it!)
I used Copic markers to color in the fish, which only generally looks like a carp you'd pull from a lake or river. (Seriously, I had to do a complete makeover on it because carp are just that ugly!)
I added two layers of Glossy Accents to it, drew the wonky border, spritzed black ink on it to mimic the black speckles on the fish, and threw on some sequins.
HOW EXCITING IS THIS?
Skipping Stones Designs has a new crew of designers and we are ready to shake, rattle, and roll! Today's blog hop order is shown below. If you reached me from Steph's blog, you're in the correct order. But If you are feeling all renegade, jump instead of hop!
I used one of the beautiful floral images from the "I'd Pick You" set. I whipped out a couple of Distress Oxide pads and Copic markers to make this simple card.
I created the background for the card using the drip-and-dip method - yeah, I just made that up! - and used my old art air tool to add a smattering of splatterings. (Am I on a roll or what!)
After coloring the floral image, I fussy cut it out, mounted it on a tag, and added a sentiment. Bazinga!
Next on the hop is Jessie. I hope you have enjoyed your stay and will come back soon!
It's Just Me!
Librarian, crafter, pet mom, and thrift store shopper who can fritter a day away like nobody else. Well, except for you maybe. Let's be friends!
