I was rummaging around in my scrap box and realized I had the scraps to make this "quilted background." The good - or bad - thing is that I have enough pieces now to make three more of the cards! It was a heck of a lot of die cutting and digging pieces out of the die, but I like the look, and the sentiment, from The Project Bin's "Cowgirl Up!" is perfect for it!
I do so love this set, "Cowgirl Up!" from The Project Bin. All of the sentiments are terrific and they work for so many different occasions.
I guess it's pretty obvious that I got some new dies. I also pulled out some crocheted flowers I picked up on clearance at the end of the summer. I changed their color from peach to burgundy with an ink pad.
Head on over to The Project Bin to check out all the great stamp sets!
The number of times I've used this terrific sentiment (many) from The Project Bin's "Cowgirl Up!" is inversely proportional to the number of successful dates I've had (none) since 2002! Is there yet hope for this sassy librarian?
This is a 4 x 4 easel card. The sentiment was heat embossed - and I'm not talking about my state of being at the time the card was being constructed! - as was the heart on the inside.
Like the paper on the front panel directs, "Giddy up!" dude! I don't want to meet you when I'm 97 and have to stun you with my fantastically decorated walker and a wink to get AND KEEP your attention!
It's Just Me!
Librarian, crafter, pet mom, and thrift store shopper who can fritter a day away like nobody else. Well, except for you maybe. Let's be friends!
