The sweet little image is from Bugaboo Stamps and YOU TOO can own it
Well, the only thing more difficult than coloring good hair on humans using Copic markers is trying to color good fur on an animal image. Obviously, I'm still a work in progress!

O. M. G. It was actually snowing in the PNW already. Nothing stuck - it was just wet clots - but it feels like Fall is waning.
This is definitely a Fall owl, though! I paired it up with a thank you sentiment. This is going to the Office Manager at work. I'm sure she swears at me all the time when I'm not around, but she remains kind and patient in my presence. The owl is from Bugaboo Stamps. One of the reasons I like these stamps is because of the thicker lines which is helpful for those of us who still have our coloring training wheels on! Now, get your behind in gear and join ChalknStock's latest challenge! There are simply not enough Fall stamps for my collection. This sentiment, from The Project Bin's "New Leaf," is one of my favorites.
I paired the sentiment with some homey paper from Simple Stories and a couple of wooden leaves from my stash I colored with Copic markers. We're expecting some serious wind and rain this week, so the leaves will be gone from the trees, which makes me a bit sad. But with rain comes guilt-free crafting time! Emily Bronte sure had it right. So many beautiful trees to savor; leaves twirling toward the ground. Sigh. (And that's a good sigh!)
The sentiment on this card comes from The Project Bin's "Autumn Calling" set, which I can't get enough of. There's the card base, then decorative paper, and then a dry-embossed Fall scene. Could that sentiment have been any more perfect for the scene?? Happy Fall! This chant may be followed by a 50-something, menosausal, woman dancing naked in the moonlight. I'm willing to sacrifice for all of you so that we might embrace Autumn once again. But no flash photography. Oh, who am I kidding? No photography of any kind. Let's not spoil Autumn, right?
So, this is from one of my favorite sets from The Project Bin, "Autumn's Calling". I used glittery embossing powder that didn't quite live up to it's potential, but the idea is a good one. I die cut the two leaf shapes and love how ornate they are. Surely Autumn will show up soon!
So, it's a Grandma card now. You know what I'm talking about, right? Cards that have little imperfections get sent to Grandma because she can't see that well any more and is just excited to get mail!
