I'm planning a back-to-school card for next week but thought it would be fun to look at previous back-to-school cards until the new one is available. You can sure see my style evolving over time . . . and the constant struggle with hair and skin!
This is a real back-to-school favorite! I love this image from SLS Lines because it's SO SPOT ON! While I can't find this image in Etsy any longer, there are some hilarious hipster dudes to color up!
SUCH an oldie from Sassy Cheryl (Cheryl Grant) back when her images were available through Squigglefly, which I really miss! You can find her images here now.
Another card featuring a digital image I really like, this one from Pure Innocence. by Heather Ellis. I believe she now sells her stamps through My Favorite Things, but you can still find some of her images here.
"The sentiment from this colorful card comes from Taylored Expressions "Simple Sentiments Background" stamp and the (discontinued) papers are from Stampin' Up! I think this makes a perfect congratulatory card for a man, which is this month's challenge at the Southern Girls' Challenge Blog!
This is a really simple card: I covered an A2 card base with the green paper and added the layered red panel on the left. I used a die to cut the teal circle and mounted it on a piece of reddish-orange paper. Fussy cut the bottle from one of the papers, added the stamped strip from Taylored Expressions, and voila!
I'm playing along with:
* Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog (Spots and/or Stripes)
* Paperbabe Stamp Challenge (Summer Fun - image and/or colors)
* Just Add Ink Challenge Blog (The Letter C)
It's Just Me!
Librarian, crafter, pet mom, and thrift store shopper who can fritter a day away like nobody else. Well, except for you maybe. Let's be friends!
